Concours international de Sculpture sur Glace
Description
This magical event will conclude on Friday, January 16, 2026 with a magnificent son & lumière show.
The competition takes place on the Verneys plateau, facing the Galibier, 3km from the center of Valloire.
Free parking is available in the hamlet of Les Verneys, or you can take the shuttle bus to the site.

Start of competition, Tuesday January 13, 2026 at 9:00 am.
Contest ends Friday, January 16, 2026, 12:00 noon.
The competition takes place on the Verneys plateau, 3 km from Valloire.
TUESDAY JANUARY 13 :
9am: start of the Ice Sculpture competition
TUESDAY JANUARY 13 TO THURSDAY JANUARY 15:
You can see and encourage the sculptors day and night.
(Please note that, depending on the weather, the sculptures may be protected and therefore difficult to see during the day, mainly from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 3-6 p.m.: Introduction to ice carving
THURSDAY JANUARY 15 :
from 6pm: magical show - Golf de Valloire
FRIDAY JANUARY 16 :
10am-12pm: introduction to ice sculpture
12pm: end of competition
3pm: Jury passes by
5:30pm: Presentation of the sculptors and their work.
6pm: Awards ceremony followed by fireworks.
- Program subject to change.
On this occasion, additional shuttles will run between Valloire and Les Verneys, at the usual stops, between 3pm and 9pm.
After the show, the sculptures will remain lit on Friday and Saturday nights (weather permitting).
