ADMR (communes of St Martin la Porte, St Michel de Maurienne and St Martin d'Arc).
The aim of this association is to help families in difficulty (family problems, pregnancy, birth, illness of a parent or child).
Two separate associations cover the territory and are managed by technical assistants assisted by volunteers in each commune:
They offer two types of salaried staff:
1- Either a TISF (Travailleuse de l'Intervention Sociale et Familiale): her role is to support parenthood, help with homework, prepare meals, wash young children (baths.), supervise children in the temporary absence of a parent (e.g.: the mother is absent to take another child to the doctor) and carry out some household chores.
2- Or a home help :
a) "Family Service": Its role is to provide material assistance to the family
(housework, shopping, meal preparation, etc.).
To qualify for partial funding, the family must consist of one or two parents and a child (or be expecting their first child, with household chores forbidden because of a difficult pregnancy).
b) "Service Personnes âgées / Personnes handicapées" (Elderly/Disabled Persons Service): Its role is to provide material assistance (household chores, shopping, meal preparation, etc.), moral support and human assistance (help with dressing, toileting, eating, getting up and going to bed). This service does not operate in the Commune of Saint Michel de Maurienne, as it is managed by the CCAS.
Partial funding from the Conseil Départemental through the APA (allocation personnalisée d'autonomie), the PCH (prestation de compensation du handicap) and social assistance, or partial funding from pension funds.
