La Traversaz - Le Thyl Dessous

Would you like to stroll through the charming hamlets on the Adret slope above Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne?

This loop takes you to the heart of three picturesque hamlets on the hillside, between chapels, washhouses and old bread ovens.

Start: La Traversaz Car park
1/ Descend into the hamlet. At the chapel, take the road to "Le Nioset".
2/ From here, take the path that crosses the road to "Côte Ribout.
3/ Continue downhill on the road to "Les Ravoires" then "Le Thyl Dessous".
4/ Cross the hamlet and take the left-hand path up between the houses, then through the forest to "Le Thyl".
5/ At Le Thyl, follow the road then the path on the right to "La Traversaz" until you reach your starting point.
