One of the keys to the success of Savoyard cuisine is that it can be shared. But it's not just about melted cheese. In the past, anything that could be grown was used, such as the buckwheat used to make crozets or the diots made by killing the pig. This peasant cuisine has not prevented the region from becoming one of France's most Michelin-starred. An avalanche of top chefs magnify the region's products, especially freshwater fish.
