Description

In just a few minutes, climb to 3,200 metres with one of the few lifts in the Alps reaching such a high-altitude summit. An experience for everyone to discover the mountains and their spectacular scenery.

2,300 m – Plan Bouchet
The perfect place to enjoy nature with family or friends.
An ideal starting point for discovering the mountains in summer:

Family-friendly walks and more challenging hiking trails
Marked mountain bike routes with spectacular Alpine views
The chance to spot marmots along the way
Fishing in the Bonrieu stream
A pétanque court
You'll also find a mountain restaurant with a sunny south-facing terrace.

A local curiosity: La Pierre au Pied, an ancient engraved rock bearing witness to the valley's rich history.

3,200 m – Cime Caron, an iconic summit
Continue your journey aboard the Orelle–Caron gondola and reach the spectacular Cime Caron, at 3,200 metres.
From this legendary Alpine summit, enjoy exceptional panoramic views over the highest peaks of the Alps, stretching all the way to the Italian mountains.

The Caron 3200 area is also open, featuring:
a boutique,
a rooftop restaurant and terrace,
an exhibition area with several interactive games.

On a clear day, the panorama is considered one of the most spectacular in the Alps.

Throughout the summer season, a programme of events and activities brings Orelle to life, enriching your mountain experience and adding even more reasons to visit.

Orelle Gondola – Day Pass
Adult (18 years and over): €13.00
Child (5–17 years): €10.00
Free upon presentation of proof for children under 5. Due to the rapid ascent and high altitude, travelling to higher elevations is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

Cime Caron & Val Thorens – Day Pass (includes the Orelle gondola)
Adult (18 years and over): €30.00
Child (5–17 years): €22.50
Free upon presentation of proof for children under 5 (Access to Cime Caron and Val Thorens is prohibited for children under 3 years of age)
